"Buku Mahjongg" supplies a variety of tile layouts for each mode, and players are free to create their own layouts using the game editor. In Classic Mode, the goal is to select pairs of matching tiles in order to clear the board. In Shuffle Mode, the rules are the same except players are allowed to rearrange the board up to three times. In Word Mode, the goal is to spell words in order to clear tiles and rack up bonus points. Similarly, mathematical formulas send scores skyrocketing in Math Mode.
